dumb Newbie question......

Hay everyone.... found this forum trought pwctoday.com.

Well, i am a total newbie to this street thing, i had a couple of MX bikes 2 yeras ago but blew a knee on a jump so i sold for recovery time, then i got a stand up ski and hit the surf, ****ing live that! would highly reccomend that to anyone looking to get it wet.

Anyway thats my life story.

Now i am after a street bike to play with... just for stunting.
I have an oportunity topick up an R1 for a good dollar, with "crash ****", 12 bar, mx bars, pipe and clutch etc.... but my question is, is an R1 good for stunt work? simple question i guess?!?!?!?

Lake.

Re: dumb Newbie question......

I would NOT buy an R1 as your stunt bike.

<---- Fellow PWC-er, but I ride a couch, Kawi Ultra 150.

Re: dumb Newbie question......

Hay ! thanks for the replies guys.......

Yeah i got a standup not a couch!!!! (well i got a blaster 1 couch and a Kawi standup (its got a death black paint job and a bomber star on the side!)

As for it being hard to learn on i kinda figured that it would. but my balance is good and i raced MX for like 7 years so i knwo my way around a bike!

BTW.... i can pick it up for about $3500 AU....

seems sweet, its a 1999 mod. any more thoughts?

Lake.
