how to wheelie?
how to wheelie?
if anyone out there can help me i would appreciate it. i am very new to riding and maybe i'm starting too soon but i am wanting to learn how to wheelie and i don't know anyone who could teach me so i thought maybe i could get some pointers to keep me from wrecking and how to do my first wheelie. if anyone can help me that would be great. thanks
Re: how to wheelie?
thanks everyone for the input. i read that a sitting wheelie is the best way and to not pop the clutch so should i try in a certain gear and at a certain rpm or what? i really haven't a clue and am really wanting to learn. the more input the better. thanks a lot everyone

read the(complete guide to wheelie the right way)thread in how to.
i also found the level x dvd is the best advice on film, buy this and watch it BEFORE you do anything.
im also learning brake/throttle control on a crf50 before doing it on big bike.

+1 if ya need to read to learn to do a basic wheelie you need to get off of the computer and go get some more seat time it will come with time . Re: how to wheelie?
i learned to wheelie about 5 months ago.... and the advice i have is.... JUST WRECK YOUR BIKE.. once you get over crashing, wheelies become so easy.. also get it on tape... so you can watch what you are doing wrong.
