That powers 12 bar I bought, will not go onto my bike. I have the banana seat subframe, which is hte 04, which is what I ordered.

In order for that **** to even slide onto the sub frame, I had to grind down the welds flush with the sub frame, already a stupid decision, I know.

Then to top that **** off, there is no way to put the tail on when the 12bar is on the bike mounted. The brake light and all that **** wont go on, its impossible to fit, and the tail would have to lose like 2 inches for it to work. Which I dont mind, but I need a brake light.

What the hell Powers? They either gave me the wrong ****, or there bars dont work for the banana seat f4i's.

I ordered it way back in December, so I know for sure they wont take it back. Guess Im ****ed.

 

i have a freestyle on my gixxer and i had to grind some of the welds like in the instructions, and my stock brakelight wouldnt go back on like it should, those parts are for a stunt bike so not everything is going to fit like stock. leave the plastic tail off and ride it,or get a split seat f4i subframe and seats and use that bar

 

Yeah, I was told it would all slide back on with a little cutting on the tail though, but its clearly impossible. The directions didnt say **** about having to grind down welds either, but I did.

If i use it, Ill just have to butcher the tail section, and ziptie the brake light somewhere I supopse.

 

yea thats probably the only way, i actually put a 03 r6 taillight zipited on and it looks good because its so bright compared to the stock gixxer, if the tail is mint sell that shi* and buy a messed up one off ebay.

 

with my powers bar on my r6, the tail light is mounted factory in the factory spot, no mods to the subframe, i did have to hack the hell out of the tail tho... i will post a pic in a lil bit

remember, these are stunt parts not factory parts,so your always going to have to grind em or beat em w/ a sledge hammer to mount them
