WTF is up with neutral
whats up guys? i have only put a few threads up but so far everyone has been a big help. im still new to stuntn but not riding. i put my bike down tryn rolling burnouts. which i do need some advice on how to get em started more frequently but thats now what im askin about this time.
anyway when i put my bike down it landed on the right side but ever since i have had trouble puttin my bike in neutral. i can put it in while im ridin (which is fckn gay cause i never have to) but it wont go in neutral when im sittn still. is there any way i can fix this problem without gettn too technical?

Re: WTF is up with neutral
yea the clutch is fine like shiftin between gears while im ridin. n the only time ican put it in neutral is when the motor is off or im rollin. i havent changed my idle since i got the bike it's still at 1k rpms. speakin of... all u guys talk about ur idles, n changin em all the time. whats that do n do i really need to change it up?
Re: WTF is up with neutral
the clutch cable goes around to the right side of the bike, where the clutch is. the actuator arm is the thing the clutch cable connects to...on the motor above the clutch, make sure that isn't bent?
Re: WTF is up with neutral
you should have like an inch of play from the time your clutch is totally disengaged till the clutch lever meets the grip. if you don't, try tightening up your cable, even if it is disengaged it still might make it hard to get into neutral though
Re: WTF is up with neutral
ok well everything seems fine with the actuator. n i noticed that if i rev up the rpms to like 2000 or more with the clutch disengaged i can slip it into neutral no problem. should i just adjust the idle to match where it goes into neutral? if so, how do i adjust that?
Re: WTF is up with neutral
don't do that. make sure your cable is set right. there's an adjustment screw on the front sprocket cover, you need to make sure that it's adjusted right first. I think the right way for that is to loosen the set-screw and screw the adjuster in til it touches the parts inside (you'll feel tension) then back it off 1/4 turn. the cable can also be adjusted where it goes in the top of the front sprocket cover also, 12mm and 10mm wrenches to do that. and there's the spin adjuster on the lever itself.
