Cant keep it up!!!!
Hey wats up everybody! I just bought a k6 gsxr-750,and I cant seem to get my wheelie high enough.Okay when im clutching it up i bring the clutch in at about 7000 grand and rev to like 10000 than dump it. but the wheel only comes up like 2 or 3 feet before its down again.Im on the throttle when its coming up but it wont go any higher.Im farely new in trying to clutch it, but i can power it up on my old bikes.any advice is helpful!!
Re: Cant keep it up!!!!
K6 gsxr? Well if you're on the throttle it should stay going up until you level out the throttle. I'm positive you're not staying on the throttle you'll clutch it and it comes up and you chop the throttle. least i'm guessing

Don't get to excited though keep rear brake covered, and take baby steps on the whole throttle thing. If your doing sitdowns and the gauge is not in your face your not going to loop it once the gauges are directly in your face your close to bp. Well thats how i looked at it anyways.

i said your close to BP when you are looking at the gauges. when at BP I'm also looking at the gas tank bolts. I'm 6' tall. Damn it i miss my F4i i have not had it for about two days and i'm ready to slit my wrists.

OKay so when you say chop the throttle meaning lettting off to quick? Ill try later on today and see wat happens. I have asked around and people say its easier to wheelie standing up than sitting down.I tried standing up but felt really weired in that position,is there a different balance point between the two position?

They may feel different, but balance point is the same sitting or standing. And yes chopping the throttle is when you let off of the throttle. Also when you stand up try to put your left foot on the passenger peg, and your right foot on the front peg. This is called the staggered stance. Just don't put to much pressure on the handlebars when you try to bring it up.
