You better paint the back of that orange so cars don't hit you at stoplights!

Re: Wheelie Training Bar

i think it's fresh, but i dont think it will work safely for anything out of first gear. BUT...., it isnt any different than a 12 bar so..... i think it is awsome. if you catch a 12 bar in a crack in the pavement, it aint no smoother than this will be. so it rocks to me!!!

Re: Wheelie Training Bar

your invention is obsolete. there are devices called magic sticks that kill the ignition momentarily... much safer and more effective. i.e no hitting it crooked, no powering into it etc, but those are just gimmicks for wheelie schools. you don't need any of that. your bike comes with a rear brake.

if you are trying to learn bp sitting down there's your problem. grow some nads and stand up staggered. it may seem unnatural at first but it's the easist way to learn. if you take it inch by inch, day by day, you'll get it. just seems like your tring to reinvent the wheel(lie) to me . read the wheelie guide https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/443-stunting-help-advice/72156-complete-guide-learning-basic.html

with the growth of this sport there is gonna be people who are going to try and offer a learn quick tool for people to try and learn. there is a quick fix for everything these day. its not gonna be those people that go anywhere with this, theyll just sit back and watch, and wishing they had a quick fix for style. let me know when someone comes up with a quick fix for circles, i may be in on that one.

Re: Wheelie Training Bar

if you can use that in stunting, then automatic transmissions and traction control should be allowed in top-fuel drag racing.

one training wheel mounted to the side you want to learn to circle to. this way you can just ride around with the bike leaned over on the training wheel and go around in circles all day. when you get the hang of it and think your a big boy ask your daddy to take it off for you.

Just wanted to help myself and it has. So i thought it may help someone else. Obviously Not you "STUNT GODS" that have responded. Isn't this site also for the advancement and growth of stunting. That means new tools to learn, faster, safer, and better than before. I understand you guys worked hard to get as good as you are. And that the danger factor is half the attraction to stunting. I've worked hard also, just haven't gotten it down all the way yet. Thats all, aint tryin to lessen the hard work and dedication you all have put into your craft.
k lets see... "it allows you to go past the bp without wiping out" know what else allows that? rear brake...
"theres no stunt rules or laws that i know of" there isn't laws or rules, but there is respect and common bond between riders... respect from others is an important part of stunting.. if i saw some kid roll to the spot wearin that paperclip around his swingarm, i'd ask him to leave, or not ride there...
and also, bp is diff at diff speeds.. also diff from a sit down to stand up, to ss, to tank trick... so how is that bar accurate? and from the looks of it, that's deff not anywhere near bp

Re: Wheelie Training Bar

Its cool I can respect someone wanting to make it safer while they learn. Theres nothing more dangerous or sketchy than watching someone learn a wheelie. Make your bar man.

You do have some issues to keep in mind.
The #1 reason people wipe out when theyre learning the wheelie is NOT because they go back too far and the bike falls backwards, its that the bike gets unstable at the high position because you're not used to planting weight 50/50 and the thing jackknifes sideways in an instant. You gotta get used to putting equal weight on the sides, and if it loses side to side stability, lower the front end to a low altitude wheelie.

You also gotta make that sucker REAL strong because if you overclutch it, it'll break it like its nothing. Your motor has enough power to loop a bike 600lb bike/rider 5 times over if you overshoot it, the things gotta be bulletproof if your ready to slam it to the ground.

It might be a good thing to make a feeler bar to let you know your at a certain height.

while your being crafty in your shop, strap the bike to the 12 BP position and stand on the btch, see what it feels like, try to stand straight with your feet staggered on the pegs and put your weight 50 50.
Nothing wrong with trying to have an edge while learning, some people got kids and morgage payments they cant afford getting fuccked up. Not me I got disability.

I love to see ghetto rigs like this

Re: Wheelie Training Bar

Well man props to you for thinking of something to help but honestly if you don't want to crash you should stop now cause if you want to do anything past just a bp wheelie you're going to crash. The reason for the bashing is that this sport is all about respect. If you talk to someone and say oh i learned bp using this contraption i made. He's going to think that's really lame and have no respect for you as a rider and respect is everything.
