Just keep practicing man...good to see you're in a parking lot instead of in traffic

Re: My first wheelie

do staggared stand ups.. left foot on the back peg.. right foot front peg.. clutch it up.. take baby steps on that.. as soon as it comes up, give her a little brake.. get used to brake, make it your reflex.. and yeah with dedication like that, u'll get it shortly.. just wear your gear cupcake

Re: My first wheelie

Not bad for your first ones...mine still look like that!!

Anyway, if you are serious about stunting, I would recommend getting a used/ totaled bike and getting a cage on it. Eventually you will put it down. And definatly, wear your gear...that way when you put it down, you can at least get back on it and do it again!! The hardest part is realizing where the balance point is...you are almost never as high as you think you are...at least at first!

yeah i am thinking about getting a 2nd bike with a cage and everything but next year. for my 750 GSXR i only have the frame sliders on which help it a little but i dont think if i will be doing anything crazy with this bike anyway, not yet atleast.

I'd say hold off on the video and focus on the wheelies. If i were you i'd try 2nd if your going to power it up its a lot smoother your going to loop a 1st pow pow.

find some back road with no traffic, (your a ways away from lot stunting) and try stand ups in 2nd, put your left foot on the back peg and cover that brake with your right in case. give the front end a little bounce and gas at the same time (dont pull up on the bars) timing is everything. take it slow, little by little and.................................read the stickys!

Re: My first wheelie

you had to cut your fairings to get sliders on right...no cutting with a powers cage or railz

Ninja636, they're at powersstuntworx.com look under railz

About the only thing frame sliders are good for is if you drop your bike while it is sitting still in a parking lot. I went down at about 15 mph (or less) and it snapped the slider right off and I still messed up my fairings. BTW, I was hitting the twisties and not stunting at the time.

Like I said, if you wanna stunt, get the cage. There are a few companies making them now, and some even have street cages so that you might be able to drag a knee on occasion.

Check out http://www.SuperSportbikeLinks.com under the stunting section...there is plenty to go on there!!:YEAH
