Re: clutch and hand break

i usually dont cover the clutch when im using the hb cuz it doesn't allow as much leverage.

Re: clutch and hand break

i would start to cover one finger on the handbrake and the other on the clutch ...you will get used of it fast..it is hard to set up but once you get it to your liking it is mint...you can do so much more that way...clutch out of circles.....slip the clutch in circles...do figure 8 ss circle, coasters..opens so much more

First off get the FI clipons. The FI clipons allow you to mount the clutch and brake perches further away from the hand grip. Now you can have your middle finger on the very end of the brake lever and you pointer finger on the clutch....
The further out you are pulling on the brake lever the more leverage (brake pressure) you can apply so you'll want to leave the lever long!

As long as you got a nice brake master and a nice easy pull clutch setup like the raptor you can easily use both levers at once.

Re: clutch and hand break

i run wood crafts fliped over close to fi setup but i run my handbrake on the inside of the clipon you know on that one inch of tube that sticks thru the fork mount lets me run the full brake lever and grab the end with one finger. no matter the master one finger is all you need

I do. For the first week or 2 your fingers will hurt. Once you build up those muscles, and some new callouses you'll be fine.
Stock clipons turned out, left side switches removed.

Re: clutch and hand break

if you are like me and have a multipurpose full fairing beast, is it hard to still keep the switches? even with freestyle ingenuity clipons?
