'05 600rr...

I ride a 05 cbr 600rr, curious if anyone else rides one. Wheelie in first no promblem. I dont have down the bounce yet in second. Just started trying to clutch in second to get it up. When i do clutch in second im at 7k and it just comes up about 2 inches. Any suggestions other than work on it. Curious if anyone rides the 05 rr and knows my bike.

Re: '05 600rr...

give it more gas.. dont worry about the rpm's or even bother looking at the tach... go by sound and just keep giving it more and more gas. i have an 04 and trust me the rr's have plenty of nut. just ball up and gas the b1tch

Re: '05 600rr...

I have an '03 with stock gearing I could bring it up in third with a hell of a bounce. Just listen to the bike. You can do stand ups in second at like 4000 rpm's. Just takes pratice. Keep at it.

Re: '05 600rr...

bahh it wont have enough power to loop in 3rd,, takes almos eveything it has just to get it up high enough to power up the rest.. BUT having the foot on the brake is pretty much standard procedure anyways.

Re: '05 600rr...

Not enough power. So I can get it up in third to bp but it won't go over? You mean it comes up nice and smooth not like a holy ish wheelie!

Re: '05 600rr...

the original clutch will not be enough to flip.. what you do once its up at balance is up to you.. All im saying is you wont flip it just with the pop of the clutch in 3rd.. Once your up at balance and going down the road,, its a different story.. Be smrt...

it probably is great, but as long as the 636 is around the 600rr will only be second best (or third, if you prefer the f4i as well)

Re: '05 600rr...

yeah i got a 05 600 and i cant get the second gear wheelie, 1st is like pie but in my opinion its the 43 in the rear , all the other "05" 600's got 45's.
but im gonna make it my beach with more practice.

i think my 03 636 has a 40 rear stock, don't quote me on it... but i can clutch up third relatively easy.
