rear tire spins
rear tire spins
Hi there
I have some difficulty lifting the front wheel! I have a 2003 Yamaha R1.
I am trying power wheeles , from 1st gear but every time I hit the gas the rear tire only spins and the front never lifts ( they are new tires Michelin powers ) what to do?

Stay in it and lean back a little. Tire smoke into wheelie. Five years ago it was a nice trick. I think somebody use to call it "THE MAD MAX" First gear five mph clutch to full throttle and hold on.(This is to be done in one fluid motion) Kind of like bouncing a six hundy(with stock gearing)to stand-up in third gear on the e-way.
Re: rear tire spins
your deffintly giving it way too much gas, just hit the throttle quick to raise it than throttle on to plane it out, way too much throttle at the start and yea, your tire will spin
