skid plates on shoes.
skid plates on shoes.
Ive been doing alot of skitching lately.. i ran through alot of shoes already too.. I was wandering if anyone knows of a good way to mount some metal to rubber shoe soles, to protect the rubber from getting worn out and so i can have a smoother ride....

Re: skid plates on shoes.
get some cheap work boots with thick tread then take some sheet metal trace the pattern of the bottom of your boot. make a section for the heel and ball of your boot, get some screws and a drill and start drilling the sheet metal to the bottom of the boot. put on 4 or 5 layers on. Just make sure the screws dont go through the soul of the boot. the sheet metal puts up good sparks. Hope that helps!
