Round Bar

I want to get a round bar for my 04 R6 but I can't find one.
Anyone know were I can get one or if someone makes them?
I don't want a flat bar yet I won't be doing scrapes for a while.

Re: Round Bar

get a standard bar, cause if you go back to far, slip off the brake, get scared it will land on the bar and not f%^k up the bike.

Re: Round Bar

that's not going to happen unless you're straight enough for it, it's gonna get nasty.

try MXD or 905 for a round bar.

Re: Round Bar

If you can, have your subframe boxed and reinforced BIG TIME before you start thinking of tossing round bars, 12 bars, or any bar for that matter on a yami subframe. They are garbage!

Re: Round Bar

THE WHOLE THING!!! They commonly snap though up at the frame where it connects. Just a weak design for stunting!!

Re: Round Bar

box the sub, box the sub mounts, box motor mounts, n once again box the sub onto the frame all with half inch aluminum.

What are you using?
I'm learning still, but a round bar would be a lot gentler on my bike in case is fu(k up, which is bound to happen.
did you start out with a bar?
I dont care if its best just to scrape the tail.

my sub frame isn't weak but i had a few get offs and my tail light/plastics took all the damage. i'd suggest NO BAR but keep spare tail lights n ****. and i HIGHLY suggest getting rid of that R6, it is NOT a good learner bike unless u have a dedicated welder. your going to lose motor mounts on that frame and go through lots sub frames. i learnd with no bar and learnd to scrape my tail 10 times in a parking lot all in one wheelie till i put a bar on.

ps: i have a flat bar...

Re: Round Bar

Yeah I think I'd rather scrape plastics unless I can get a roundbar.
I don't really want to do long scrapes, I just want to be able to.
