Re: Stuntin a nice bike...

my 05 RR is still nice, but i took the front end off before i f u c k it all up. i'm saving for a stunt bike so i could keep it pretty. until then, i'll stunt, but stunt conservatively, and that will keep me from ultimately improving at a decent rate, but i'll still be out there and to me that's enough fun, for now.

+1,
i'm all about stuntin a prettybike,
but i think the amount of time it takes for you to learn **** is alot more.

when i'm learning something new, i'll take baby steps and only go beyond my limits a small fraction at a time, from fear that i'll mess it up.

whereas if you have a bike thats beat to hell, you're dropping it left and right and you dont care what happens to it, so you'll learn stuff alot quicker.....

Re: Stuntin a nice bike...

I learned on a mint F4i with no sliders, no cage, no 12 bar. I was always freakin out about wreckin it, came close a couple times but never wrecked her. I got really hooked onto the sport b/c of that F4i, after I bought a salvaged 929 and streetfightered it out and went to town on that bike. So if you feel like taking the chance of totalling a mint bike, go ahead... but I think most will agree atleast take off your plastics if you are just learning something.
