Thats very common when you over-torque the mounts... which is pretty easy to do they only get 29ft/lbs.

You want reliable... go 905, you want something rock solid as well go with the NEW 929 MXD style cage, but make sure you put the Delrin sliders in the ends of the MXD otherwise the cage ends fold over and you can't get the bolts out EVER!!!!

Jeff is a tough cookie to get a hold of.... but if you can get a hold of him directly, talk to him and he'll get you a cage. May take some time b/c I think he's still in transition between his new shop, but his NEW Style 929 cage is very nice. More leg room and seems to be a much better design all around for the 929.

I just put a sick innovations cage on my 929. Ian and the guys from sick innovations are super cool and easy to work with. I had a 905 cage on a 636, wouldnt do that again, bent like butter cause it dug in every time it hit the ground. Sick innovation cage seems to be braced a lot better than the 905 was. I will keep you posted on how it holds up though....

i fixed that problem too. added a brace & the sliders never bend.....as long as there are sliders in the end. im going to start voiding the warranty on cages that dont have sliders in them. shop is moved, but now im moving into my house so i havent really worked this week either.
