905 is the only company i know of making the 636 bar..i just put one on a friends bike, and it works nice. Give steph a call if shes off maternity leave, shes good about hookin it up. Just tell her who its for, that might speed up the process a bit.

The Subframes Are Slightly Different Where The Rear Seat Snaps On Between The 04-05.it Probably Would Work If They Make A Bar For The 04'

yeah 05 636. its pretty short, all you have to do is notch the tail a bit, and shave the plastic nubs down on the backside of the rear seat.

Re: 600rr scrape bar?

home built....works fine

I've seen the 905 and it seems to work fine and looks better than homemade too!!!

Does look pimp scraping the **** outta the exhaust though!!!! Plus you COULD shorten an aftermarket exhaust. I've got a jardine race pipe on mine and thought about that....you know if I ever got to where I rode worth a damn!!! hahaha now I'm trying to get an exhaust gasket to put the stock exhaust back on, so its easy to ride lots at night.

Re: 600rr scrape bar?

Steph's baby's already born! Yay for Seven! (Yes, that's what aaron named the baby.. heheh.) I live like 2 blocks from 905, and can ask Aaron after work.. Teach, give me a text at 619 869-6001, so I can give that number to Aaron.. I'm pretty sure they can hook u up... did u want the full on 12 bar w/ the plate? or the "stelth." tube that hides under the tail fairing?

ya, i had the undertail bar last season and loved it...i just dont like the weight of a bar, but also dont want to ruin my subframe on the new bike. i havent quite gotten comfy on it yet and my hands are out of shape on the hb/clutch

Re: 600rr scrape bar?

I though I saw a pic of A.C.s bike a while back with a scrape bar. I am guessing you are building a different one?

This is the pic I had. Along with some serious bracing for the subframe!

Re: 600rr scrape bar?

ya, AC had that custommade obviously and the bike i'm borrowing from ARGO's has a MINT tail with two bros exhaust on it, so i'm not too keen on hacking it up and giving it back to them like that!

playing phone tag with Aaron right now, so i should be all set.

thanks for the help guys!

ps. i;ll take that Arata off your hands if you dont mind!
