zx6r - cheap, sell or trade
1996 zx6r.....5500 Miles....Clean Title.
Bike runs perfect....I have rashed lower fairings for it, but it needs an upper to make it complete so I am just running it without them. No dents in tank, tail section is in very good shape (just a couple of scratches). Everything else on the bike is in good shape as well, except a couple of mounts for the light are broken (stays there just fine), and I am told that the front forks need oil or the seals are blown out. The bike is fine for me as is, so I didn't look into that. That's all I can think of so far....feel free to ask any questions.
Asking $1200 or will trade for a snowmachine or whatever else you got.

Hmmmmm....nope I'm going to Manchester, NH this weekend which seems even further away from you. Tiller is going there also, so if you guys know eachother you could have him pick it up for you I would suppose, but I have no clue what is going on. Haha.
Anyway, Unfortunately I don't have a truck so I can't go very far to meet you without paying somebody to take me there. The farthest I could make it on my own would be to Champlain or Plattsburgh NY which is just acrossed the bridge (would save you about an hour each way).
**Just read Tiller's latest post.....I'm heading down I-89 to get to NH so I don't think I'll be getting too close to you that way.
Willing to help out however I can though.

The front end compresses pretty easily, and you can feel it sort of "bounce" a little bit in corners that have bumps. I was told that it is more than likely do to the fork seals/oil but I haven't taken it anywhere because it doesn't really bother me.
That's pretty much all I know....wish that i knew more about this crap.

Seneca falls is in the finger lakes area between syracuse and rochester. i bought a junker near plattsburgh oncs in a town called chataguay and man it was a stupid long drive. I have a camp on a little lake near little falls so gloversville isnt bad
does the bike go straight when you are going down the road? I mean are the handlebars straight or do they point kinda off at an angle when you are going straight?

What are your plans for the bike? If you want to use it as a stunter I'd say that the forks are probably find as is....if you want to use it just to ride I'd say they are fine too, but if you are going to be riding it like a bat out of hell kneedragging around corners somethine would need to be done with them if your roads are as rough as ours are.
Yeah, Chategauy is right around the distance I would be able to drive to meet you, so if you did want it then maybe this weekend would be a good time to let Tiller bring it back with him. I'll have to see if he wants to get a transportation fee out of the deal.
