Re: AR15 guys, got a question
I would look at Rock River Arms stuff chambered in 5.56. .223 and 5.56 are the same other than 5.56 can be loaded to produce more chamber pressure, so you can shoot .223 in a 5.56 designated reciever but probably don't wanna do the vice versa... Rock River recievers have the best fitment for the price. It's not gonna be a Noveske, but darn close in fit. I have the S&W MP15t and am very happy with it. Basically Stag Arms recievers with Troy furniture. Can't go wrong with Stag or RRA.

Re: AR15 guys, got a question
rock river arms are
check out there D.E.A model (really pricey but SICK!!!)
http://www.impactguns.com/store/RRA-GOVT1001.html
i recently sold my bushmaster AR15 M4 (which i liked a lot)
i'm looking into a mp5 soon, preferably the class III mp5k....... s.b.r. with the folding stock. the HK is crazy pricey so i might have to stick with a GSG, Vector, or somthing.

Re: AR15 guys, got a question
if you have the money go with novoske there 8inch barrels shoot 1moa, if not the rock river arms is your best choice. Also u need to consider what caliber you want to be shooting. i feel that 5.56 is a worthless caliber unless your varmint hunting. I have a rock river arms chamber in 6.8 with and eotech and i can tell you that thing is exstreamly accurate and put down deer size game on the spot. hope this helps. some of the caliber include .22, 9mm, .45, 223-5.56, 6.8, .308-ar10, 6.5-long rage, and the .50 beowulf which is sick.

Re: AR15 guys, got a question
Also, as long as you have a .223 lower all you have to do is change the upper reciever and the clip and you have a new gun. this aplies to every caliber except for the .308.

That was a lot of help and some understanding to Ar's....After reading through that and a few other things Ive decided to go with Sabre Defence M4Carbine...great platform to build on from what Ive read...found one new for $1150

Re: AR15 guys, got a question
magazine...clip... same thing. for the price and fit nothing will beat a rock river arms setup. for fit the colts are supa tight. too tight to mount a different upper on

Re: AR15 guys, got a question
From Wiki
"The term clip is commonly, but erroneously, used to describe a firearm magazine. A clip is used to feed a magazine or revolving cylinder, while a magazine or a belt is used to load cartridges into the chamber of a firearm."
