I'm looking to buy my first handgun, but I'm not quite certain where to go when buying one? I'm not looking to buy brand new, I would prefer to buy a used gun and my gun of choice would be a SIG P229. Anyone have any ideas of where to go to buy a used one or where to look? Or even better... does anyone have one that is pretty mint that they are looking to part with?

 

Go to few local gun shops. They ussually have used guns and decent prices. Or you could find a gun show in your area and go to that. Good deals at gun shows.

Definitely want the Springfield Armory XD .40 Sub Compact. I love the **** out of mine.

 

I like a gun where all my fingers fit on it. I'm pretty set on getting a SIG P229.
