Anybody know anything about them? I may have a chance to get one on trade for some stuff I don't really need. Good or Bad, let's hear it.

Have you ever owned or shot a Hi Point? I'd assume not. They have a very loyal following. I used to own one and it was very reliable and amazingly accurate. Sure they are ugly and top heavy but they are a fine shooting pistol. The only reason I got rid of mine was I needed the money towards a 1911 that I wanted.

Now Jiminez doesn't have quite the same following. Several have been jam-machines and quite a few have actually blown up.

Read up on what owners of said guns have to say about them, don't believe the hype. Everyone has an opinion, try to look for the ones that aren't only based on heresay.

I dont like Hi points for the fact that there mostly plastic. and they look like toy guns. As for jiminezarms , Google the name. You'll see why they ****. Next gun Im going for is a springfield XD or a Colt AR.

That's good to know about the firestars but my hi point was very accurate. Do you think I could get anything for a trade in at a gunshop for it? I'm thinking about trading the junk I have for the firestar and turning around and trading the firestar towards a sigma.

Re: Firestar Plus 9mm?

Depends on if you can sell it to someone who dosen't know much about pistols. If you can find someone who needs a sidearm and is just getting into firearms you could prob turn it pretty easy. No promises though

I can trade **** I don't need for the firestar. I already have a 1911 and a S&W Model 19-2. I only sold the hi point because I wanted to stick with .45, then I got the .357 and I kinda want a 9mm again. The firestar would basically be free. I also thought about trading it in on a sigma if I get it and I was curious if it was worth anything.

Also, you've never even owned a handgun, yet you are an expert? You're another one of those idiots who reads something on the web and takes it as fact. If you did actual research with people who own the guns, you might learn something. I'm looking for first-hand knowledge here, not you posting your version of someone else's opinion.

Re: Firestar Plus 9mm?

I have had first hand knowledge of the high point.... WOW you own a gun you must know everything.... Seriously if you cant take a opinion for what it is, then get the fu** out of here, because thats what this whole site is for.

Seriously dont freak out on me, I have used plenty of handguns and have shot many. Just because I dont own one doesnt mean that I dont know anything. You cant buy a hand gun if ur under 21 and I just turned 21 like a month ago. Pretty sure a rookie could pick out a decent gun without knowing anything about them and pretty sure I dont know anyone dumb enough to buy a Highpoint. If thats what you wanted, then whatever, but dont attack me and start making a a$$ out of me just because you dont know about what I know.

People are experts about WW2 and yet they weren't born until 30 years after, so yeah people can know more about a topic even though they have no affiliation. Take it for what it is!
