What is too much to you??

I know were not all gun nuts or millionaires here, but, how much is too much, if there is such a thing?

First part of the question...

How much is your life worth???
Would you be happy with the $230 Kel-Tec POS for your carry piece or Home defense?
OR, would you spring the change for a nice Glock, HK, Sig, Kimber, or...

Second part...

How much is too much for a gun you really want?...
$1200 for a Colt LE marked M4,
$1000 for the Kimber Tactical TLE,
How about 2-3K for the LMT MRP LE M4,
$6000 for the Steyr Aug??
$12,000 for a Colt Gov't marked original M16A1???

Accesories,... Are you a...
$1100 Trijicon ACOG guy, or
$50 B-Square guy?
$500 laser light from Pentagon or Surefire, or
$20 from Gander mountain or Wal-mart
$50 for a HK mag, or
$5 for a japenese mag??

First of all, steyr augs are gay. I hate those things. I don't even want to shoot one.

Second, anything is better then nothing.

Third, theres no price to high for the application you need/want. If I really want that m40a3 sniper rifle, I'm going to buy it, just a matter of when. Or I will get the equivelant of it for a cheaper price. Some things are just unneccesary though. I'd rather put in an hour of range time getting to know a gun then spend the money on a laser light.

Just my opinion though.

Re: What is too much to you??

I think 1200 would be about the limit for one gun(for me) .....IMO.... after that I start think about how I could buy 2 or more really sweet guns for that same amount of moola

The most expensive gun I have is a Kimber Ultra Carry II CDP. $925 ++ I think it was $1020 OTD It's nice....but I still question the price sometimes.... but I always end up being OK with it , Cause I know it's holding it's value .
The Gun I sold to get this one was an H&K USP 45 that I bought 6 years earlier for $709 and sold it a few months ago for $700 You really cant beat that !!!

Yep, I agree with this.... I mean dont get me wrong there are a LOT of nice guns that are worth the price, but Im just a glock fanatic and have no thought in my mind about having to worry about it not performing if I needed it too....

I agree with the other comment, there is NO price you can limit to something you NEED. Especially protection, that goes with guns, gear when riding, and even sex... lol... Sure I can get the 25 cent condom out of the machine that is dusty but dammit I just dont trust my life to something like that...

So in short.... no limit for protection...

I love my Glocks! Best handgun out there. Accurate, a lot of firepower, easy to clean, never rusts, and very light compared to most other handguns out there.

ACOG's are worth the money. You get what you pay for when it comes to guns and scopes.
