Is there any kind of plan for this trip yet starting to think that paris and back in four days will mean 10-12 hrs riding per day

good point i dont think we really have considered the harsh reality of this trip, its gonna be hard work

And i also am wondering how many french people will want to donate money to a london based charity, dont they hate us? or is it we hate them? lol

Tbh i think most people will struggle to get to calais and back in four days, paris is 440 miles each way at an average inc fuel stops and breakdowns of prob not much more than 15 mph thats near 15hrs riding per day if nothing major happens maybe a scooter ride to france ie calais would be a more realistic target or have two groups hardcore go to paris the rest stay in calais chase asylum seekers around drink beer talk ****

Re: Vertical Trix 2 Paris 50cc who is up for it

Ha ha its gona be hard thats for sure

Soon as this weekends stunt comp is over, we will get all the details sorted and post up all you need to know.

It is do-able, it was done last year. We are thinking leaving early friday morning witch will give us 4 days full riding. I think it will be worth taking money for the train if you think your bikes not going to make it

But if this trip was easy, then it wouldn't be worth doing. If we do make it all the way then great, if we dont at least we tried

Re: Vertical Trix 2 Paris 50cc who is up for it

From London to Paris using Calais is 269miles one way. Going via Dieppe is 245miles.

If we avrage 15mph, thats just short of 9hours riding over 2 days. Leaving us 2 days to get back. I thik thats very do able

Re: Vertical Trix 2 Paris 50cc who is up for it

From my trip Lee it is ******* hard work.

My last day we did Bordeux back into London and rode for 22 hours or something.

The laughs you lot will have in a big group will be worth it!

Are those mileages avoiding motorways & autoroutes Lee?
Might be a higher distance if not... And are you route finding the proper way, or cheating with satnav?

Yes thats without using any highways or motorways.

And we will be doing it the old way with a map. (scooter dont have a 12v plug for the sat nav)
