Stolen bike

My CB500 was stolen last night from my driveway.

I live in the west london area... The bike is loud as **** and quite recognisable I think...

Please let me know if you see/hear anything.

Re: Stolen bike

Keeping an eye out aswell.
What was the reg?

I know the bike thieves that float about in this area always seem to be riding black CB500's.

Cool.

Incase anyone else see's em.

The guys that usually ride the stolen CB's around here are two's up.
Black Arai with a a black visor. Wears a black schott jacket, has a matey on the back usually wearing an old orange-y helmet.

They usually hit up the bike shops.
But keep it peeled.

At the moment, I'm not getting to work.

But I'll have to get something to go to work on soon.

Re: Stolen bike

The CB is back in my hands, albeit in a bit of a state.

What's needed?

Ignition barrel
Petrol Cap
Exhaust
Battery
Clocks

I think I might be able to get it all back together for about £200, wont bother claiming on the insurance... I'd rather keep my no claims bonus.

Pics from the pound (before I paid the £150 to get it out)

Not quite sure what whoever took it had in mind once they nicked the exhaust off it... They've jammed a screwdriver in the ignition and petrol cap and got nowhere.. Seems like they just did it for fun.

Re: Stolen bike

TBH Dave, whoever stole it probs tried to get her running. Failed, ditched it in the hedge. Then someone else saw it dumped and took the exhaust off. They havent even taken the link pipe lol

Re: Stolen bike

It took me a while to get it running... Had it hooked up to a car and checked a load of the wires and main fuse box... but forgot to check the starter solenoid fuse which was blown. I guess they didn't take the battery out too carefully... Hopefully one of the ***** got a nice shock.
