F4i tank problem??

Right i took my fuel pump off the other night and when i put it back on it leaked (badly) so i tried again same thing happened?? my rubber seal looks intact i was wondering do you have to re-seal them or something? i cant get my head around it. anyone else had this happen to them? and theres a metal kitchen scrubber like mesh around my fuel pump is that supposed to be there? i guessed it must be a filter or something but then again there was some ratchet pieces in the tank too i dont think they should of been there

I know whats wrong there mate, its easy.

The honda thing is broken and it needs a new 636. If you buy a 636 it will fit right in and problem sorted. If it still not right at first but a 05 636 and bobs your uncle

Re: F4i tank problem??

my fuel pump went in mine man, but when your putting back on the rubber gasket to the pump, you have to pull the nipples on the gasket threw the holes on the pump til they click in place to secure a prefect seal.. and that metal gause is ment to be there!
