Goodbye my friends...

Some of you may have noticed i havent been posting for a while, well its because i havent been practicing either. Basically living in Manchester & Cheshire im like 2 hours drive from anyone else to practice with and thats the reason ive decided to pack it in. This week I sold my GSXR to Pez.

Currently im racing my new fireblade with the locals, doing my first track day at Rockingham on 1st Aug. Racing will never be as much fun as stunting, but im around a good group of racers where I live.

I wanted to thank just about all of the guys on the UK stunt scene, for accepting me in as a noobe, helping me to get started, patching me up when I fell off and laughing at my stupid wooden 12 bar when my ambition got the better of me

Hopefully in the future I will be in a better position to join in again, but for now ill be leaving stunting in your very capable hands.

We love you Ant!

Just because you're quitting for the time being, doesn't mean you have to disappear off the site.

Re: Goodbye my friends...

Yo ANT - once stuntings in your blood you never really quit. You just needed a better spot, now you'll have some nice wide tarmac and bigger crowd. Collect those black flags with pride dude, everyone (except the marshalls) likes showboating at a race meet.

Re: Goodbye my friends...

Yes your right, racing will never compare to the laughs we have stuntin, stuntins way cooler too.

Ive had a great 2 years and I just didnt want to dissapear without an explination. Im hoping i can get a decent job a bit further down south and then I can get it back on in my usual comedy style

Ive got my fingers crossed that in a couple of years you guys will be raking in fat sponsorship cash, have your own cable tv show and thousands of fans, ill be running back then.

Re: Goodbye my friends...

In memory of ant.....

Pics of the infamous wooden 12volt bar

Version 1:

Version 2 - new and improved

Get back into it once you can. Did you ever catch BP and idle Did you ever actually scrape the wooden bar? I know others have but you cant put a contraption like that together and not scrape it yourself

Re: Goodbye my friends...

Once i got the fireblade I was better on the GSXR stunter cos i cared less about it, but i never got bp. If i did launch it to bp, the next action after that would loose it.
But my wheelies in general are much safer and im always skidding the back round on the blade

All motorcyclers say their sport is the best, but when its time to cellebrate their win they all turn to stuntin.

Im contemplating getting a old gas gas to mess about on, i could chuck that in my car.

Keep up the good work guys, ill be seeing you soon...
