Dont you need a bussiness for trade insurance tho??

I'm paying about £350 fully comp on the van, £500 or so for both the bikes and about £280 for the wifes KA

So would have to be about the 1K mark to be worth it

yeh but no but.. lol
all it is give'em a ring and say that it happens that you buy vehicles and it happens that you sell'em after a while (you don't have to be VAT registered i believe) say you don't keep the same vehicle for long...just that you keep'em in your garage (@home)(which you can be included in your policy as well covering a value of up to 15k+)
anyway let find their number..its worth givin'em a ring,...you'll be surprised

Re: Cheapest place for jap imports insurance??

I normally go on gocompare.com and stick the details in, make sure you put a registration down... then wait till the next day, by lunch time you'll have had a few phone calls and a quote half of what the internet price is! It's worked for me so far anyways...! I've noticed that if you don't put a registration number in for the car you're getting a quote on then they tend not to call you.

Re: Cheapest place for jap imports insurance??

id go with a trade policy.. thats what my friends do there 20-22 yr olds driving evo 6's and 7's, nissan slivia's, skylines etc.. they just said they did a bit of car-valeting on the side, dont need a registered company or vat numbers or any of that *****.. as many cars and/or bikes as u like all under one policy, you just get a blank insurance disc with your name on it but no reg...

you can permanently insure all yr own vehicles (+missus), you can add the yr missus in yr policy..you can use people's vehicle, you can tax any vehicle (even if it's not yrs)..you can ...you can...you can..Obama style and the list goes on...give'em a bell and see the score
