At last i have the cossy engine running after i locked it away for about 12 months . I tried swopping everything on it and a few others had the car and tried to .

So i booked a trackday for next fri (at a local sprint track) to make me get the car running. All along a cossy mate i mine wanted to have a look at it and after about 10-15 secs he diagnosed it (the map sensor wasnt on the correct bracket and was at the wrong angle). Its now pulling good boost so after next fri its time for the big turbo and injectors to come out a nice 400 bhp MK2 escort 4x4 .

my brother has a mk1 golf convertable thats like a show car , doesnt come out in the rain and all that hes in the process of putting a turbo tt lump in it atm, he also got it in one of the mags before he started this transplant ill try to find some pics , your golf must fly

I paid a grand for it, the outside is good, but interior needs redoing.
It has a 1.9 D enging, and 5 speed box, but its noisy as ****, but pulls really well for what it is. But it has got alot of wires that need tidying.
Its got G60 discs and calipers, flipped rear axel, crystal? headlights, 15 inch MINI wheels, golf gti seats.
Ill try and get a pic up this weekend
You may have seen it on ebay, its lamborgini orange, and grey.
I was gonna buy it for 1250 but missed it off ebay, then it came back on for 1000

I had a quick go in the mk2 escort (running 4wd cosworth) set the boost at a low 12 psi which is approx 250 hp and it goes like ****. Im going to give it death like that on the track then its time for build big turbo, cooler, inj, and another 150 horses please then it will be a ******* weapon only weighing a ton, equivelent to a 700-800 hp evo or escort cossy...... Cars only feel fast when they feel dangerous...
