Re: Wanted - 12 bar for pit bike

hi
I can make them for any pit bike but they are all slieghtly different due to swing arms and so on ( they often end up being long for true 12 oclock)

Ive done a few xportsand a realy cool alloy framed thing ( forgot the name )
PM me if your intrested.

Can you make replacement sub frames too? Basically my 12 bar is bolted to the back of my subframe, But the subframe its self has started to flex and bend/weaken. I've had to reinforce it, buts its quite bodgery.

Pitbikes 12 bars are a waste of time in my opinion.
Unless its a CRF50 of the same size. They end up being way too long for bang on 12. Mine was for a crf and it was like 2 O'clock scrapes. That i could rarely ever get back off the bar as all the speed was lost going that far back *but i couldnt coaster then*
All they do is catch your legs constantly, rip your jeans, and ****** hurt.
If i ever get a pitbike *unless a crf* again i wont bother with 12 bar.

Like Joes says. You can make them but there long and then they have leverage which pass on to the sub frame and then the bolt tubes and so on..I also need the bike here which is J23 of the M1.

Flipped a second gear highchair The 12 bar stayed straight! thats the frame/ subframe thats bent and it broke 2 engine mounts aswell. The engine was held in by one mount, and the throttle cable

I rely on my little Round bar to circle my pit bike. And even then I cant do a full circle yet. Keeps high-siding me after about 3/4 the way round.

Re: Wanted - 12 bar for pit bike

fit a foot peg on the left rear wheel nut. or swing arm,
I had one on swing arm and loved it, and had a go on ones by wheel nut, and it was alot easier.
Foot on bar wheelie circles are wobbly as hell on a pitbike, dunno how you do it!

Depends how long it is I guess. I've got a round bar that sticks out about 10". And if I keep my body weight over the front of the bike, I could probably scrape it if I was good enough. I can get about 12" from the floor with the bar before I find the bike stalling on me.

I know what you mean about BP though, It only takes a slight bit of body movement to completely change the BP on a pit bike.
