Sounds as if it may be clutch drag. Make sure you have slack cable at the lever but not to much 3-5mm at most

bandit cable shouldnt cause too much bother as most suzi's are inbred as ****!

if the bike changes gear as normal when your riding then i wouldnt worry, if it starts pissing around when on the move then have a deeper look into it,

i swapped out my gixxer clutch cable this weekend for a bandit one, and it made no difference to the ease of pull. i lubed it up before i put it on and no great improvement over what i had already, anyone managed to get a gixxer cable like butter?

This may sound stupid but i have had it happen. When ya pan caked it ya didnt bend the foot peg braket did ya. Mine has done this a couple of times and when ya put ya weight on the peg because the bracket / gear lever pin is bent it all binds up !!! Its fine when ya have not got ya foot on it !!!

when i crashed my bike went on right hand side so i assume that the foot peg is ok. every thing is ok when the bike is switched of or when its moving but when im stopped ( on lights) i cant put neutral or put 2nd gear
