Re: ant...'s new wooden 12bar

Where's the video.

Hell i wanna book a week off work just to ride at your spot all ******* week lol.
video is on its way mate, promise it will be here this weekend.

their should be a few riders here this weekend, if you wanna get the train up you can have a bash on my gixxer.

DB's well not quite, but tonight i moved my stock clippons straight, went out for a little ride and wow it feels So strange, completely different. But if you guys recon its much better for wheelies then i wanna get used to it, i can see the logic in it.

Damn! UK must have some good drugs!!! LOL, j/k
Why would you do that to your bike, lol, you already had a 12bar on it! Can you even hit the blance point with that thing?? That's not even a 12bar, more like a 9o'clock bar, lol.
Can't wait to see the video!!! You should patent that Ant, lolol.

Re: ant...'s new wooden 12bar

I dont know if anyone said this before but Ant you know that stock sprockets are alot easier to stunt than that big pizza plate. When i got my bike july of 07 it was -2 +13 gears.. I couldent do ****.at all. And racked my nuts also. so I pulled strait into the garage kicked it over and got out the stock sprockets that came with the bike. rolled out and the first wheelie I brought up I rolled about 80 yards at about 25 Mph. So If you change your sprockets It will be alot smoother and less choppy for you. Im still on stock rockin combo circles. Mabe you should give it a try.

Re: ant...'s new wooden 12bar

Thanks for the help Timmy P but even though stock is smoother I found it too hard to launch and by the time i was near bp i was going very fast, so when i fluffed my brake control i fell off and baddly smashed the bike, broke a rib too.

The problem im trying to face is foot brake control, stopping the nose at bp. At the moment im not going too far anymore, but im still working on holding the nose just right.

Re: ant...'s new wooden 12bar

you might get to bp but think of this.. the lumber yard you have strapped to the back of your bike changes the geometrics (sp) so when you get used to where bp is on that homedepot bike its gonna be back like a foot and a half more.. ever notice fat people balance point is lower then skinny people?? if anything you just took a step backwards.. just cover your brake.. its the same thing as strapping that tree house on just not as dumb

Re: ant...'s new wooden 12bar

Highstyles - I haven't put it there to practice BP, it was there to learn rear brake technique/stop me flipping (which i kept doing).

Now im confident i can stop the bike before it goes too far I wont be needing that wood ****

Handbrakes
I am going to invest asap, but had some bad news yesterday, house sale fell through so no new road bike, pit bike or hand brakes for me yet.
