Yz's start fine if they are set up properly... I had more trouble trying to start CRF's than WR/YZ's even my mates race tuned 426 starts easy enough hot or cold. And the WR/YZ's seem to be slightly more reliable... CRF's have a tendency to implode.

Both great bikes though, just both need lots of fettling and servicing. I'd go with the YZ personally, they balance out reallll good for wheelies :YEAH

Re: jabgo

CRF's throw rods through the cases.

WR/YZ's eat 3rd and 5th gear - not a problem with a stunter.

Lee - I'll be back riding soon after a year off - not that I ever started - you're alwys welcome to have a go on my WR supermoto if we cross paths again. (That Reculver vid was forever ago)

Re: jabgo

The YZF is not gona be stunted, not even gona wheelie it much, just little pow pow's, its gona be for the lanes, I need a new direction in motorcycles and this is for me. I've rode a few SM and the last one was a few weeks ago, and i couldn't stop smiling for hours. For the first time in a very very long time i didnt want to find a big road and wheelie or go flat out. I loved the way you can do anythin on them in just a few hours. I was backing it in and steping the **** end out coming out of bends. I feel like a hooligan, and i ******* love it. For once wheelies are not the only thing that made me smile on the road that day.

I want the YZF cuz they look so much better then the CRF IMO and cheaper

Goodluckmonkey, i'd love to have a days play with you soon on the bikes, would be cool:YEAH
