Re: IMORTAL Stunt Show

Dear all

Due to this event being in conflict with last years SBF organized by Jon Jon, this event has been turned in to a 'Stunt Show' and not a competition.

The event and venue remains the same and will be held on the Sunday 24th August.

The show will consist of motorcycle stunt riders, moto cross and cars.

I would like to apologize if this event gave any indication that it was SBF or SBF related. In the near future Imortal will arrange a stunt competition only if it does not conflict with other organizers interests.

Many thanks for your understanding.

Payman

Re: IMORTAL Stunt Competition (August 2008)

jon let us know whats happened[/QUOTE]

As you all know I organised the SBF Comp last year and it was sponsored by Imortal.

What appears to have happend is that I obviously let the sponsor get to closely involved with the setup and organisation. They have now decided that they will run there own stunt comp this year. Funnily enough using the same date, venue and basically run an exact replica of my event. Which is an absolute stab in the back from a company that i thought i could trust.

Im obviously pi$$ed off and its far from over

They even contacted my mate Richard (IZIT) to comentate for them, He obviously declined

So at the moment the whole SBF thing is up in the air, but ive been talking with other venues and we`re trying to get something sorted so we can hold the event this year.

I hope this clears things up a bit

Re: IMORTAL Stunt Competition (August 2008)

Man that's fucked up, what is it with the stunt industry nothing seems to be going right! The only event I really want to actually attend this year is SBF, so I hope you find a way to run it. Whether I actually compete or not, I'll definetly be there

Dear Jon Jon

I did make it clear on a post oat 5.30 pm that the stunt comp will NOT go ahead due to the conflict of interest. Instead it will be a car and bike show only and a family event to also help promote the branding.

I apologize publicly if my intentions were taken the wrong way.

Aw ****!

Jon Jon, for what it's worth, you have my full support, even if this isn't a public even, lets just hire a space for a weekend of camping it up, and riding.

if enough of us were in could we split the cost????
