broken subframe

my buddy has got a 1998(?) honda 300 ex, he keeps breaking the subframe dragging thre grab bar, how can he prevent this? the thing is awesome at wheelies and stunting, this is the only problem holding it back.

Re: broken subframe

used angled steel stock, 1/4 inch . I welded it together smoothed all edges and then BOLTED it to the frame....heres the catch....i had ALREADY broke my grab bar off
therefore i took HALF inch steel rebar and hammered it down into the frame....it just HAPPENS to be the perfect size...i used a titanium drill bit and drilled 2 holes one on each side at the point just behind the battery and 2 more holes ,one on each side about even to where the tailight was....and used grade 8 bolts and havent had one single bit of problem yet outta that setup...ill try to get a picture up 2morrow hope this helps it works exellent for me..late
