I know this idea has been tossed around before, but lets make it happen. Watching all these "crews" argue back and forth is making my head hurt.

So lets do this. As of right now I'd say the only rule is that the video has to be posted by November 1st 2004. That should give everyone enough time to get their latest stuff on tape and edited into a video.

Anyone up for this?

Ya, good idea. No editing at all just hastily put together clips, that sounds RAD!

 

I think the videos should be edited. It will keep things interesting! I'm not talking about any fancy George Lucas special effects, just some nice cuts that go to the music. Editing isn't going to make a bad rider look good, so what's the harm?

I say it should get done...everyone throw in a tape, then there can be a poll started november 1st that goes until the end of the month...at midnight the poll is locked and the winner will be confirmed. To make sure there's no cheating all users under 10 posts should be discarded. What's everyone think

None of the videos should actually be made public though until november 1st (so one team doesn't rip off the other)...though they must be submitted to someone, to make sure the dealine was met...

 

I think the vids should be as small as possible too. I can't download ten 20 meg vids in a reasonable amount of time to be able to watch them all. So 10 megs or less PLZ.

I crashed so friggin bad this weekend. Looped a wheelie, top of 4th gear, hit the grab bar and the bike shot sideways. Rolled about 50 feet on the pavement wearing a t-shirt. Bike continued on without me and crashed into a cement wall. Broke both the upper and lower a-arms, put a kink in my frame.

I hope to be well enough to ride this weekend

No, my foot wasn't near the brake because I was kicking a friggin plastic Christmas lawn statue. Yes, my worst wreck ever was caused my a damn plastic statue. I kicked it with my right leg and the momentum of kicking it caused the bike to go back on the 12 bar. At the speed I was going I didn't even have time to think about hitting the brake. The bike just shot off to the right I just remember rolling on the pavement for what felt like forever. I think I rolled like 5 times. Besides my helmet I had no gear on.

I was going to try and get my bike ready for the weekend but it's not looking good. I need a wheel, a-arms, and my top a-arm got hit so hard it got pushed into my shock and bent it so that is junk too. Not to mention my whole front end of my frame is pushed over about 3 inches.

I just snapped these.

Really not too bad for looping a 4th gear wheelie on pavement. My left leg is bruised up real good. All I can figure is the handlebars hit me in the calf when the bike went on it's side.
