I was wondering what you guys make you 12bars out of because mine is just made out od steel and doesnt spark.what should i use to make it spark?i was going to just weld a strip of something to the one i already got.ive heard i need some titanium,if you could tell me were to het some Ti it would be great,thanks.also anyone got a stock axle for a 300ex layin around.all the ones on ebay look like a bunch of junk.thanks.

 

titanium..thats what on my bar it sparks like no other at night it is pimp.....thats just the plate the bar is actually steel.

 

i think the whole bar is steel,its heavy as crap for a 10bar,prolly weighs about 7lbs,were can i get some Ti?And im sure its expensive but how much would a 8x1 inch peice cost?

 

man i get mine from a buddy who works at an airport.....usually u can find it in the avaition area...if i didnt have a friend i odnt know where i would get it man..honetly call a metals place out of the phone book and ask them where you can get some....a thin strip of titanium lasts as long as regular thick 12 bar just about....my 12 bar is heavy too....that makes it sturdy man..and it holds my fata$$ up

 

aight cool.need any special kind of welder or weld to weld titanium?

 

i just have mine as a plate with holes drilled and can put it on or take it off it isnt permanantly attached to the 12 bar it is just a plate.....imma try and find a pic my computer crashed so i only have one pic saved on this one...

lol i bet i got some at my g-pas in the scrap pile of metal.. or the neighbor.. I need a new bar.. mine is bent beyond repair... first both screws fell out on the right side and i went to do a flamingo and it bent all the way down

 

hey bro, what year is your kfx? i got one on my Z400, but its an '03. slides on and off and its held on by a U bolt and works very good.

oh, is it like severly bent or just kinda tweaked? with my bar the only thing it does it leave a few scratches, there is no drillin to the subframe or cuttin things up...i got some pics if you want some.

 

its bent upwards...like if u 12d it doing a wheelie in 2nd. i didnt wreck it either which sucks.i just dont want my subframe to get fked up.
