what did you do to the raptor to make it run @ 12, that is my ONLY Gripe w/ the entire quad. tryin' to creep a 11:45 (straight up, but not on the bar) wheelie sometimes I load up & stall.

I wish it was fuel injected. Hmm, lightbulb.

Good question....At the near 12:00 position my EX will stall as well. I had quite a bit of gas in it, so maybe my fuel was plugging the vent line or something???

well this is a big problem for alot of 4 wheeled fools so ill be back on lata hopefully with an explanation
i have to go to the shop and check out how my motor is coming. ill ask the guy i have this question .

I just work the clutch on it when they're that high to keep 'em running..... No probs..

 

i wish i could intergrate the 02 R1 style fuel injection on to it.

IF anyone knows how to set the float levels so I can make it run @ 12 I will be for ever in debt.

 

when its stock, give it extra gas and be on the brake heavy, then feather the clutch if you have to, mine hasnt stalled on me in forever.... and i dont feather the clutch anymore unless im going super super slow

to make it run at 12 without all the work you have to click one of the jets up and do something with the float bowl.

I am rollin' about catchin' the thing on fire - mine poors gas when its 12'n and sparks - so its a matter of time before I set myself on fire. be sure to get it on film.

sorry, 1000 sunday i will now be fixin my friends 400ex that he flipped at least 15 times down a 60 foot embankment when he was out ridin today hes ok sorta a little bruised nothin serious.
then i was ridin the bansh today tryin how to wheelie downhill man its easy!! but all of a sudden i steartd having either an electical problem or a carb cable problem because it boggs out of nowhere and then its fine again if i wiggle the bars left to right hard but who the **** knows ill still get some pis up tommorow night. peace.

check the wires to the kill switch. sounds like its shutting the engine off, you wiggle it and it connects again. just an idea.

hope the dude on the ex is cool. what the hell did he do to flip his **** that hard?

tomorrow is "D" day for my rear brake set up on tbe bars. Hopefully i can pull some i'll 12's off on the bars & ride em away w/ out crashin' or stoping.
