problemo...

hey guys...back again for advice
anyways, i gotsa problem, my clutch on my kfx, doesnt engage until late on the let go. i was wondering, if it just needs to be adjusted or what...also, i think my clutch is fked. whenever im in 1 and 2nd, it works fine. but when i shift into 3,4,5 it seems to rev before actually catchin. like it wont catch when im on the gas. i was wonderin if yall fellas and or females had any ideas as to what it might be. thats my biggest problem, the clutch not wanting to catch , like it revs then catches.
any ideas?

I 2nd that. What your quad is doing is typically (similar to) how to test to see if a car's clutch is working, put it in high gear at about 50 mph and floor it, if it slips, need new clutch, if it doesn't , clutch is still good. So your's is probably gone.

Re: problemo...

could also be a broken shifter fork... that will cause that too! I had the same problem with my 400... I took off the crank case and found a lil piece that was in the bottom... turned out to be part of the fork.... just a thought though.... I would just take it to a shop LOL that is what I do!!
