400EX adapters

I'm looking for adapters for the front wheels for a 400EX 4-wheeler to fit 13 by 7, 4/100 rims...Does anyone have any ideas on where I can get them?

are you looking to run another set of quad rims on it? or are you trying to run like a 13" car stlye rim? If so, you will prob have to have those adaptors made up. I have seen some guys put 18's & 20's on quads - they use the front rotors off a geo metro and buy rims for those & make adaptor plates to fit the quad bolt pattern. Machine shop may be ur best bet if so.....

I havent tried myself but I have heard that the wheels from a ford festiva will bolt on the back of the 400ex. When it gets warmer out I might go to the junkyard and try to locate a pair.

Yo ED you might try looking at a speed shop that has wheel adapters. If I remember right the old vw stuff had a large bolt pattern and I think a company called trans-dapt makes adapters to fit a newer bolt pattern wheel on the old vw bolt pattern.

****, i think that was it. I thought it was the geo - cause the festiva is a tiny little car too.

but 1 of the 2 works w/ it. heard of guys doing em.

good luck man

i just put street tires on my banshee...only the rear...most compact imports will/ should fit the bolt pattern...i think i got mine off of a metro, they fit perfect if not better then the orignal rims....and holy **** are burn outs ILL!!! i think they are 14in but they could be 13in....the front is probably gonna need an adapter(at least on my banshee i dunno know about 400ex)

junk yards are like gold mines!! good luck and post picks if you get it...i put the tires on mine rode it for a lil then dropped it out of the back of my truck and bent the axle so my banshee is out of commission once again sorry i just dont think that machine likes me

anyway
