Re: Few pics from today

Nice to see someone else besides me stunting around on a Z250, have any problems with the engine stalling in the middle of a wheelie?

Nope haven't had any problems with it. I really like the z250 since you can creep in 1st without it dying. Gotta keep moving with the 400ex. Also gotta love the handbrake on the z250...

Why can't you creep a wheelie on a 400EX?

Thats scary.......

When I try and creep on the 400ex it will stall and come down hard. Same with when I rear brake hard... thats the worst, you get slammed down then. I'm starting to feather the clutch to keep it going, kinda like a coaster, but its way easier on the z250. I mean you can actually stop and just balance and then start going on that without a problem.

ya bro, with experience, that same exact feeling and balance will come to ya on the 400ex. just gotta know where the friction point on the clutch is, and timing.

Re: Few pics from today

Yeah I need to get out on one wheel though. I've been working so much lately I haven't been able to go out at night and ride. I've only been able to play with the quads for a few hours in the daylight after work. I wish I had a legit place to ride the streetbike, then I wouldn't have to wait till late at night to work on stuff.

I i'm gonna put a handbrake on the 400 though. I really want to do more highchairs and stuff. I can do them now but I feel alot more secure with the handbrake....

I know what you mean by being about being able to to creep around real slowly in 1st gear, I like to bring it up fast, let it balace, and come back down to a certain point, and gas it and bring it right back up again, without stalling out, You like the 400ex? I am thinking it would be a good improvement over the 250, thats what im planning to get next.

Re: Few pics from today

I love the 400, you won't believe you ever rode the 250 and liked it after driving the 400. On the track the 250 doesn't even compare. It also has so much power, you'll be in the throttle and like whoa this is quick, and then you'll realize you have more throttle left and it will just take off. The z250 seems real slow and weak after driving the 400.
