Okay, Got a newbie question for everyone.. Is the stock 400ex wheelie bar safe for scraping? Im just taking precautions so I don't bust my ***. Every vid I seen with 400ex's has special wheelie bars when they scrape, and what kind of bar is that ceecee on your 400ex?

 

dont be a ***** set that **** on its *** third gear wide open..and yes on the stock grab bar learn death shakes the way every one else did then move on to a custom grab bar

 

Aight, scraping is about the only stunt I haven't tried yet :bouncesmi so I wanted to make sure about the bar thingy. And I got a question for everyone, how old where you when you started to stunt? I don't want to be the only 15 yr. old here who stunts.

im 16 but started when i was about 15 or so

 

ive got a 4x12 scrape bar welded to my **** - scrapes mint. I gotta re-enforce it so that the subframe doesn't bend.

 

Hazen from our crew is 16 (and I hate him because he is going to have to give me tips on some stuff ).

Oh yeah the younger the age the bigger the ballz is what I find. When you aint crashed you think you invincable until a rolling stoppie goes wrong and 400 pds on your back. But my shitbox dont even endo off a cliff so Ill never roll em. F--- life and F--- yamaha's....later

Hazen's got a lot of stuff on lock, and he's deffinatly the best in the crew when it comes to being on the front two wheels.

It's cold as a mother up here....Yesterday morning was about 14 BELOW 0, and today it was a bit warmer in the morning...about 1 degree.

I have ridded a couple of times in the snow, but Ryan said he hasn't ridden since the last day we filmed. I don't think Hazen has either since his quad is ripped apart.

The cold I can deal with, but stunting is hard on the ice and snow with stock tires and stuff....I can't think of anywhere to go around here where there isn't snow. Even the main road in front of my house is covered and has been for the last couple weeks at least.

You guys can probably pretty much stunt all winter right?

Yes it is...........don't be scared.You can get a plate and your riding ability won't improve....until you scrape it the first time.Then you won't be scared to try **** like ape hangers and dead christs. Those moves are so f***ing easy on a quad,but so fun.Sorry...I had a few beers tonight.Good luck everyone.

 

Yeah, it's cold as **** alright. Too cold to be stuntin. Not too cold for weight training, snowmobiling or snowboarding though :D So, I'm just cross training.
