Guess ill be spending some of my quality time in here more.. been looking around for another quad.. had a blaster back in the day and a suzuki quadracer right before i got my bike.. Just picked myself up an 01 400 ex.. yellow and black.. brand new nerf bars, Razor tires and a pipe ... not sure of the brand... quad is mint though and im sure it wont stay that way long... ill get pics up this weekend!!!! Now who wants to make me a 12 bar...!!!!

Hazen has one on this. Just a piece of Angle iron welded to the grab bar...seems to work okay I guess. He said sometimes he gets the death shakes (which may be related to the bar???). I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with mine.

 

What was i thinking.. asking for help from a "Union " state member ..... silly me!!!!

doesn't that quad have a solid metal grab bar. If it does that is one of the strongest you could have.

One of those six pack racks makes a good 12 bar. A friend of mine had one on his 450R and it was almost unbreakable.

 

I six pack rack sucks for a grab bar, its made out of aluminum. I don't think it will be any good for scraping. I also know a guy with one on a 450R and he either has to replace the grab bar or add some REAL METAL.

HEY MAN, did you sell the EX? turn it into a woods bike to keep the z for your comps/shows? let me know if u got any spare parts to sell, or if you ever thought about selling the whole bike. i'll buy anything if i can use it. thanks man.
