I want the new raptor. ot sure how it is for stuning but it looks

 

the trx 450 sucks for stuntin for one reason only... kickstart, enough said. i love my kfx 400 to me it is the best and everyone else that i ride with is the same way, nice combination of lightness and power, durable and it works smoothly, i rode the ltr 450 one time and didnt like it, too much of a racebike fast as **** but i couldnt really slow it down, plus the guy that let me ride it really didnt want me wheelieing it so maybe i didnt get enough of a chance and the pipe is right in the middle where your foot goes standin up

 

I was stuntin an 06 lt-r 450 for 6 months or so...... not a good stunt bike. Awesome race bike on the track, wich is were I started. Super fast but not good for slow tricks. It has an amazing amount of tourque with a cherry bomb and the baffle out w/ the air lid off. Went back to a 400 with exhaust and jetting. I will say though ,wish I had the fuel injection on my 400.

400ex toughest quad i've ever owned
i have a grizzly now a reverse wheelie is about the only stunt that things ever seen, but any of the 400's truly are cool to do tricks with there just balanced well.

 

i stunt my 06 trx450R (electric start) its awsome. plenty of power, the idle control is right at your finger tips, it runs great on the bar, the bar unbolts easily, the subframe seems strong (slammed it a few times and it hasn't tweaked at all), its light for its size, the front brakes are the strongest stock brakes i've ever felt on a quad, plenty of room to jump around, oo i almost forgot it practicly balances it self. the only complaints i have is that the throttle is wicked twitchy but as with anything you get used to it pretty fast. also, the pipe gets wicked (red) hot after 15-20 min but as long as you have jeans on you can't feel the heat. i broke a bunch of stock grab bars off (from drunk/high stunting) and just scrape the pipe now...waiting on a 12bar. and to top it off it looks ****** bad *** (imo).

 

i have a gasgas 450hp what do you think of them ?

that would be CC;s not horse power your lucky to be puttin out 50 hp with it not 450

400EX are stunt machines, they balance easy.
you can do anything on them.
450r are geared stupid, 1st gear is like 3rd gear on the 400EX.

 

I stunt a warrior n can do nearly anytrick on it. its a 91 n ive beaten the hell out of it n it just keeps going. But its heavy n 2nd gear needs a lil more *** in it almost like a gear between 2nd n 3rd n it'd be perfect. But my cuz got a 400ex n geared it -1 +2 with a set of Tag T2's n a moose ex-pull n it was like in heaven for me. perfect amount of power, smooth, light, n has a oil cooler. my warrior runs pretty hot when doing slow stuff. but just cruising wheelies its fine. ive stunted 300ex's, banshee, blasters. have ridden preadator 500's n yfz 450s. but so far i think the best is the 400ex imo...

 

just got a 2002 400ex,is there a gear combo that's better for stunt riding?

 

I have an 06 LTR450 I just bought, and if you regear it -2 +2, it will be EXACTLY like the 400ex, crank to wheel turn ratio. out of the box it's too stupid fast, but once you got that sucker regeared it's SICK!!! my other quad is a 400EX which has a 440 wiseco kit in it. I'm gonna have to say the LTR is my fav now.
they dont make 12t front sprockets anymore for the LTR, so you gotta have sidewinder make you one.

honda kid, it is a gas gas 450hp that is the model. he isn't trying to say it has 450 horsepower.

 

to that. it is not an easy feet to overcome.....

 

i have never stunted a 400ex before but I do know 1st hand that a stock suzuki z400 will wheelie with the driver and 2 passangers (1 on the tank and the other behind) impressed me alot...
