12 bar

I dont know anything about 12 bars but does anyone have a 12 bar for a 400ex? How do they go on can they bolt on like a fiddy or do they have to be welded? I scraped the other day but i have a feeling it cant be good on the stock grab bar. Can anyone make or sell me one? Its a 2000 400ex

Best bet would be to find someone who can weld you up one. Get some angle iron and flat stock and go to town. Make sure it hits even and i would have them gusset the sub frame to prevent it from folding up on you..

Make SURE you get your angle right or it will cause problems when 12ing. You can bend the sub frame with the threaded rod in it but it is very difficult to do. Unless your Bill......

I cant really see in the picutre but do you just cut the end off the stock grab bar and just put a piece of flat metal on? Can anyone get one for me?

Re: 12 bar

Did you not bother to download the tutorial I posted right above what I wrote? It explains everything. I do not have a welder, but pretty much any place that has a welder will do it for like 10 bucks.
