Cool pics! What technique are you using to do your nohanders? Are you idleing it up in first or are you kinda coasting in 2nd or 3rd? Just wondering what everybody else is doin.

I am trying both. I have been going in 2nd and 3rd pretty fast and then bringing it to the balance point and then trying to coast with no hands for as long as I can. I have done it for around 100-150ft. Not consistantly though. I started doing them in first though. Then came 2nd and 3rd. I think the faster you go the better it balances.

 

That sounds pretty good. I have been going about them in a different way. In first gear I idle my 400 up all they way and pop it up real quick and bring it to the balance point them just use the brake to keep it from going back too far. The result is some very slow no handers with very good balance. With more practice I should be able to go as far as I want but very slow. Both ways are pimp as hell.

 

Yeah that sounds like a pimp way to try it. I am going to give that a shot for sure. I havent tried to adjust the idle yet. Right now the idle is normal so unless I am hauling *** it will stall. I am going to have to mess around with the idle. DOes it help out a lot? If you can ride no handers forever that would be as hell. Good luck!!!

THanks! I saw your pics on here too!!!! Definately . The 400 is nice since its 4 stroke. Like you said. The damn powerband just gets in the way sometimes.

 

I was using a z for a whle their and got everything on lock..then jumped on my bansh and was out of control, now i can pretty much do the same, except for the long wheelies.but no hands, grabs and **** i cant get them the same...i luv to here people say how easy quads are andall this bullshit, all they use is the 400...granted im sure its easier compared to a street bike, but i luv it when those people jumpon a banshee, its a totally different world...but either way i luv quadz, just to hope to learn a lot this year on my 900 so i can post sum kul pics....

Its easy to turn up the idle on the bottom of the carb on the drivers side (left) there is a **** lookin screw that has a slot for a straight screw driver you can turn with your fingers. It only turns so far then stops. Try it its pretty cool.

 

My idle only comes up alittle - cant get it to come high enough to be able to actually 'drive' the no handers. that'd be sweet to see.

Coasting the no handers in 2 or 3rd gear is pimp **** too. just depending on balance to keep you up.

I saw the vid man . **** is tight! Looks like you and Prozak have **** on lock. No handers are looking good. I like the one where you fall off riding backwards. Havent tried that **** yet. I will give it a shot soon though. I havent messed with the idle either. I think I will just leave it the way it is. I always forget to mess with it. Coasting no handers for blocks on lock soon though!!! Will post some new pics soon. I have an idea for a trick that I want to try.
