Hey guys whats a 01 raptor worth?, guy may want to use as partial trade for my bike, I know there not good stunt bikes but I may be able to sell it quicker then my bike.

Mike, the '01 Raptors were the ones with the suspected tranny problems. Has he had anything done with his? The '02's had some updates, and gearing changes too I believe. I heard of a lot of people doing the '02 updates on the '01's, but I don't know much about it.

If I had to guess how much it was worth I'd say between $4000-$4500 if it's in good shape. I'd shoot for around $4000 though .

I think even a Raptor would be easier to stunt than the Grizzly :D .

 

watch out for the 01 raptors. problems with tranny, starter clutches, clutches, carb boots, motors blowing up (I had one. had to do a complete engine cause it nuked).

But if you can trade it around cheap - do it up! just make sure the machine is solid.

ps that guy wants to trade even for my bike...... and I want 5g's for the bike...... he says hes got aftermarket front suspension, and carb...... not so sure about it???

I know of a guy that has a 2002 Banshee (supposedly mint) and he is asking $3500 for it.

I don't really know the guy very well, but my father talks to him regularly. I don't think he would be down for any sort of trade, but if you do sell your bike and you are looking into getting something else that is one to keep in mind cause if it is what he says it is, it's a good deal (but it's still a Banshee and those things are a pain to stunt).

On another note, you should swing by Roadside Marine in Essex and see what kind of deal he'll give you. I know he usually stocks a lot of new and used streetbikes there. They have a HOT Polaris Predator sitting in there right now. That thing looks so sweet and you never see those out there.

It was the first time I had seen one in person...When I saw them in the mag articles I thought they were big like a DS, but seeing it in person it's not a whole lot bigger than a 400ex. I would love to get my hands on that and try it out.

I already talked with Rside, but my bike has a rebuilt title, they are afraid of it! prob if they saw it they might think different. I also drooled over the polaris, but its a polaris!!!
