Unusual results at local mx race
Went to an indoor mx race this past Saturday, as i haven't been in forever, and wanted to see what quads were ruling the track. The track was in a rectangular area that was very small, about 50x100 feet. The open class was a big suprise. No CRF powered quad at the front, no YZ powered quad at the front...not a 400EX, Z400, Predator, Cannondale, etc...
The fastest quad of the night was a 250R, with an oddity i never thought i'd see bringing up 2nd. It was a 250R frame with a 350X motor. Talk about old school...haven't seen a 350RX in forever.
This is just me rambling on what i thought was rather odd. Feel free to add anything you want

Re: Unusual results at local mx race
yup, I think hes right because I know with my stock motor'd 400ex I do much better than banshees and raptors mainly because I can hold a perfect line and a steady pace. While they are going all over the track, not even trying to get a good line and then mash on the gas throwing dirt everywhere to come to a stop at a corner and do it all again.
Just what I think!
