I would take the Banshee, just cause you can mod them so much and you have that 2-stroke sound. and I hear the polaris isn't that great.

banshees suck outta the crate so i would take the pred cause its more dependable and more trick parts out the crate...

why isnt the YFZ in that poll???

I would take the predator because the power on the banshe is like a light switch it is eaither ***** out or nothing there is nothing in btween wich will make it alot harder to do stunts or trail ride in technical areas because you gotta be on it to get it to move there is no going slow or taking it easy because there in no low end in the banshee. Get a real bike a raptor or a yfz450.

were did you get that a pred is faster than a rappy? Read the stats in the mags stock to stock the rappy is faster top end and faster drag race the pred is a very heavy bike I have raced at least 15 of them and have never been beat on my rappy although my rappy is not stock but neither was most of the preds i have raced and by the way I am not some little kid I am 28 years old and have no reason to lie about it. If you like the pred then get it it is all about what you want not anyone else most people that I talk to that have them love them so I don't think you would go wrong with it but when you get it go race some raptors then you will see the truth about which is faster.by the way I weigh 225 and have raced predators with riders that were 140 and I still had 2 quad lenths on them at the end we race in sand flats and go till they are toped out but at no time has a pred ever been in front of my raptor now on the other hand a yfs450 will take me off the start and it takes me a long way to catch them and pass them in a shorter race I have no chance but in a long race the rappy tops out a little higher than the 450 but the 450 acceleration is better for sure.

hey psycho, bring it on. I dont know what you are talking about. The pred and raptor are about dead nuts even. Come to WI and ill prove it to you. THis weekend we were on the lake doing radar runs of 1000 feet, on two runs with the pred it ran 68 and 69 and the raptor ran 69 and 68, while the yfz 450 ran a 66 and a 68, so everyone dont listen to this guy. Not trying to be a dick but know your facts before you post next time, and maybe you should have the sameguy ride both quads because it could be that you were just better than the other guy.

well alot of it has to do with the rider and the mods on the bike and everything I have stated above is true . The mags had the same rider ride both bikes and stated the times I will do some reaserch and find out which mag and issue i seen it in. And You say don't listen to me but I told the guy above to get the pred if that is what he wants so what is the problem.

the yfz is slower than the pred and rapt in 1000 feet, Now if you want to talk about a normal 300 feet drag, the yfz is faster. the yfz is faster in low end and the rapt and pred are faster in high end. Just ask blinginr6 he has a yfz

Well, I would "take" either one... But I wouldn't pay for either. My z treats me just fine, and for what i do, i think its the best bang for my buck. And before anyone responds by saying how Yamaha's are the best or Polaris rules, I don't care....you asked for everyones opinion (peeweesp), now deal with it

p.s. yfz had the slowest time??? I'm tellin everyone on the bandwagon! lol j/k

I don't know. There was not a banshee there so I could not anwser that question, Sorry. Also why would you take a poll on a 2 stroke verse a 4 stroke. A banshee is ment for speed and it is pretty out dated in my opinion. If you want a trail or stunt quad buy a four stroke. You dont have to mix gas for one, who wants to carry oil with them on the trail. Now in the dunes the banshee is pretty popular. I didnt try to cause an argument or any thing. I like both the pred and raptor. One nice thing about the raptor is that is has reverse, but true high performance quads don't have reverse. lol The nice things about the pred are they have douglas wheels, maxxis razr tires, wave rotors, and steel braided brake lines.

yep the raptor and pred smoked me on the ice... top speed isnt a factor in MX and thats what the yfz was built for... now wait till i put on a bigger front sprocet and then we will see.. i will gaurentee that a pred or a raptor wont touch me all across the board... anyways enough with the pissing match... Peewee we need more info to get better opinions?

1. what you gonna mainly use it for?

2. do you know about rebuilding motors?

3. do you realize that when you buy a banshee you will get next to one of the other million banshees and they will all be modded in some way, thus meaning your pride will kick in and you will have to buy mods (story of qaud life) which in turn means you coulda just bought a YFZ... lol

4. your comparing apples and oranges, so no comparison..

I have a rappy not stock curt(enasni900rr) you know what it's got I was out at flat river this weekend and raced several banshee's ,yfz,ds650 and i beat all the shee's and lost to the yzf because he would only race a short race they accelerate fast but the top end isn't as fast as a shee or a raptor. Before I modded my raptor I could beat stock banshee's now I can beat them by alot . But There is some heavly modded shee's that I am sure would eat me up but who wants a machine that is only good for drag and dunes ?? I also raced a 2004 ds650 that was piped air box lid off , k/n , Jetted and I would get him every time even when he got the hole shot a few times I would still catch and pass him. Curt If you ever get your **** done then it is on!
