I've seen guys "wheelie over" on sleds but I've seen ALOT of snowmobile footage and nobody is holding bp on a sled. Just doesn't happen. If it could be done, Quinlin would be the one to do it. Just my 2 cents.

Okay smartass.... if you would be so kind as to re-read my previous post in response to BlinginR6, you would see that I've already stated that I'm waiting to receive all the footage from Phear. It should be here within a week. Now how do you propose that I show you a teaser that isn't edited yet? I'm not making any promises.... just saying that I should have it done in a couple weeks.
Sooooo.... please, please... don't ever compare me to Hbombs.
Hbombs = quad fmx.... jump after jump.
CVBz = quad street freestyle..... with a little extra spice mixed in.
IMO H bombs owns all of you , all of those riders/pros could do the stunts we all like, they just dont direct there movies towards the riding you do, and i think what they do is way more entertaining than just riding wheelies and doing tricks. There films show way more than just FMX, have you watched Heuvos 1-6?, they have every type of riding besides Street Freestyle.
I enjoy all of your movies alot too, Just quit ****ing hating and show some respect.
If you dont understand where im coming from, or are gunna flame me for my opinion

See I know what I'm talking about. I own 1-6 and quatros locos (wes' first film). I've dealt with hbombs personally and they had nothing good to say about our/my **** and our stuff and CVB gets respect from many people. Hbombs would trash talk our **** so in return I'm calling them on their ****. All yr they talked about how everything is gonna be nothing compared to H6 and well 90% think it sucked. Only one I think with real talent is Dana creech because he obviously knows how to handle a bike. Excluding pro racers.....
i also have huevos 1-6 and qautros locos and THEY ARE ALL THE ****ING SAME!!!!!!!!!! im not disrespecting just statin that they need to come up with some new ****... i go to the local track and rip some combo wheelies and all the local riders dig it! so why wouldnt the rest of the world?? so if they can do all the stunts why not make a 5-10 min segment in one of there movies instead of editing 1-5 a little different to make 6 cause thats all i got outta that dvd..
i wouldnt hate if i just borrowed H6 from someone but that was a gift... i coulda got some new Mx gloves or something usefull..

"Could" they do ground freestyle like us....more than likely, WITH PRACTICE.
"Could" I go out and launch off a kicker like they do....why not WITH PRACTICE.
To be honest with you, the more pics and stuff that I look at online, the less impressed I am with the whole "bombsquad" deal. You see young kids going big, and pulling off sick stuff all the time.
In fact...If I remember right, there were at least 2 ramps that I can think of in H6 (and remember, there weren't a whole lot of them), that I wouldn't have to think twice about going off of...I'd do it. Not saying it'd be busting tricks or anything, but I'd hit them and that is a pretty good start for somebody (me) who basically has only hit 1 jump in the last 2 years...lol. Sure, maybe I'm a big talker or something...I'd just love to have the opportunity to prove my point.
Also, it's hard to compare which takes more "skill"....I know it sounds funny to really compare stunting and FMX on that, but in my opinion I don't know that one takes a whole lot more skill than the other. Now before I get flamed, let me add....don't get "skill" confused with "risk factor". Let me elaborate on what I'm saying a little....EVERYBODY has a limit with what they can do. If you say in general that stunting is EASY, I can say...okay, then go out and roll a 100 foot endo...okay, you did that...now roll 120 feet. See what I'm saying, everybody has a limit as far as what they can do, but the possibilities for what can be done are unlimited.
My opinion....as far as "skill" goes....Racers are the ones that own that.
Anyway, I sorta got off track a little bit. Any "hating" I did on Hbomb wasn't because of the level of their performance in the film, it was with other things. Is what they do MORE entertaining than what I choose to do? That's a matter of opinion....you think what you wanna think, and so will I and everybody else. God, some people wish that there is no FMX at all in it and that it is all racing....others think it should be totally FMX....yada, yada. My beef isn't with FMX, MX, Cross Country, Dunes, etc...etc..., it's with the movie as a whole. There just wasn't enough in it that made me go
. I found most of it boring...seemed like the same thing over and over. I just think that some more stuff (not just ground stuff) would have broke it up more and made it better. If you watch the video with the directors commentary (which I'm guessing you have), in more than one instance Wes Miller is talking about the Bombsquad with the attitude that they are the best at everything. That arrogance kinda ticks me off, but besides that they go and throw in a couple of crap stoppies, and lame wheelies...sure maybe their focus wasn't on ground stuff, but if they were gonna put ANYTHING in there you would think it woulda been good. Speaking of that subject (arrogance), you can tell that the HBomb crew don't even care what the people wanna see....they give you what they want and that's all. They have every right to do that, don't get me wrong, but to hear them talk, it's all about "giving the fans what they want". Well, guess they didn't notice the 9 billion threads souly about GROUND FREESTYLE being in the video (not to mention, a good # of those threads were linking to our website as an example).
Another thing that gets me is the hype....grrrrrr. They were all
,
,
,
whenever the backflip was mentioned...I didn't see a spot where they actually said BACKFLIP IN HUEVOS 6, but pretty close....then they wondered why people were a little disappointed that it wasn't in there. I believe the phrase used by members of the bombsquad in reference to the people that were hoping for a backflip and commented on it was "EAT A DICK". Not to mention things like "well if you like ground freestyle you are going to love Huevos 6", for the people that mentioned it....hmmmmm, that came straight from a bombsquad members mouth also. I mean, they typically used every opportunity they had to say something good about the tricks, and how far the bar is being raised, and all of that jazz. Now, I without even going into my opinion as far as quality of the tricks and things like that, I will post a quote from John Guetter, a bombsquad member....this was said well after the release of H6....
sure some things didnt go the way wes wanted action wise this year but i think he did a damn good job with what he had to work with. i do agree with the statements about how the fmx guys made the sport look worse. in hawaii we had one of the worst landings to work with so that limited the size of the gap and kinda embarrasses me and the rest of the guys but we made due with what we had and made it work. after that we never really had a chance to get together and actaully have a good fmx session because everyones schedules wouldnt work we so just said screw it, time wasnt with us this year.
As far as respect goes....I have to agree with Jimmah on that....the genre of riding I enjoy has been crapped on plenty of times by members of Hbomb....whatever, I've ranted enough....lol....I doubt anybody will actually read all the way through this, but if you did, sorry for wasting a few precious moments of your life rambling about something so miniscule compared to the problems that are facing the world today.
