Is this a fair deal?

This will be the first quad I've ever bought, i've riden them before but am just looking for something to stunt/trash over the winter. Its a 93 300EX, motor runs great, no leaks, knocks, etc....Other than that its a little rusty, but the main question is that it has the pro-link suspension in the back which makes it 3inches longer. I take it that its going to be harder to find balance point? Anyways, dude wants 650.00 bucks for it? Buy it up or what?

Don't hondas come stock with pro link? I've never heard of someone going and buying aftermarket pro link equipment. I know the Rs, 400s, and 450s have pro link so I wouldn't see why the 300s wouldn't but this "3 extension" seems fishy to me.

bought it and its my garage....way too much fun, needs a new throttle cable though, it sticks halfway. Other than that, as much fun as i've had on it in the last hour its gonna be well worth the money, and yeah its an aftermarket suspension, the guy gave me the stock stuff too.

Am I right here in the fact that it's not a pro link setup? And if it is is it off of another bike IE 400EX? I'm not a newbie to bike modifying and honda's aremy games this is something I've never heard of.

Well it still has a pro link on it as he was saying but just a little FYI it is not the same as on the 250 r or the 400ex those two are even different and the only ones people have changed is to either put a leager frame with cr500 link or lone star frame with a no link design either one works well with the cr500 link soaking things up a little smoother and the no link was a better jumper, now lets get to the new 450 that is to have another breed of its own so we will see when it is here it better be as good as my yfz 450 rearend if it is gonna be in the front with it! And also Honda calls their rear susp. pro link on almost all the sport quads but that does not mean they are the same.

Well I've heard of people running a 400Ex/250R front end setup so I wan't sure if they could mate the rear somehow and I'm sure it's possible. I'm just confused with this prolink cause I thought they used it stock. It's like going out and buying Showa shocks, it's what comes on it.
