Tower City is one of, if not the best, trail riding area in the Northeast. They have like some 200 miles of marked trails. In South Jersey its just places to ride, maybe a few trails, but its illegal.

I just got myself an '04 Raptor. That quad is sick and will wheelie just rolling off idle and hitting the gas. It'll stand right up. No clutch needed.

the best way to learn is to set it at twelve a couple of times.. you will learn that the quad isn't going to tip over on ya. i just started stunting quad and thats how i learned how to ride them long wheelies... and i learned how to do them on a polaris trailblazer 250... its an automatic. it sucks.. but my new ride is better... 400ex

I was going to do that. Now do I get on and hit the throttle or do I get on and push it down and hit the throttle as its coming down?

You guys are the best man. I never seen people help a newbie like this.

My stock grab bar is bent to all hell. Definately consider a better one then stock. I'm looking for a good alternative.

Yea my friend has one. Its a little longer, stronger and thicker than stock. Think he said he paid $40-$50 for it.

I just realized that I cant stand it up and then get on. Whenever you stand a Raptor up you have to turn the gas off. The quad will stall out.

i hit the ground a few times learning because i couldnt think to brake... practice this: pop the front end up, and hit the rear brake... get used to how it comes down and do this over and over it will be natural to keep your foot right on it and you will be alot more responsive when you feel it start going over, and like every1 has said, you will get tips which is good, but just go out and practice is the only way to learn

I know 1/19 of the police force here so I know when to go out and when not to. Last winter I was riding on the street after a snow storm and the only female cop was coming the other way so she threw on her lights and I stopped and shes like " You cant ride that out here." So I play dumb and told her I was going home. She probably thought I was a punk kid, but little does she know I pay her salary. Did I mention that shes hot?

Hey man,
Like they all say it takes practice. I can get a good wheelie in second with on knee on the seat but i get a little shaky sitting down. FlatAir2 is a buddy of mine and helped me with some of my riding skills and got me stunting, thanks again flatts, but if your looking for some good tips ask this guy.... JLanphear. He rides a 400ex but he maybe able to give you some good newbie tips, he gave me a bunch of tips that I can not wait to try out once I get back from my deployment. I hope that helps.
