hey guys my back up 400ex is smoking real bad could it be any thing eles besides needing to be rebuilt. it has smoked a little since i have had it but only for a few sec. then it would quit. have not been on it in a while but just put a new cluch in it and started it up and the smoke is real bad and it stays bad. any help would be awsome. thanks.

 

your valve seals are shot, need a top end rebuild

yea i work at an atv shop the mans right.. and you might as well go with the big bore 440 kit we sell at my shop... were the cheapest on ebay and its a complete kit now u dont have to have ur old cyl re sleaved you can buy the kit now.... so purchase this kit... it comes complete with the gasket kit and if you want i can get you your valve seals sent with it 4 a lil extra heres the link to our store http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...mZ350107944268

No chance of needing a valve clearance check first. Might be worth checkin for the hell of it.
